With nearly 35 years of experience, Dr. Zimmerman has dedicated his career to supporting adults, families, adolescents, and children in various settings. His clients often express feeling deeply valued, respected, and truly listened to, as Dr. Zimmerman collaborates with them on their path to personal and familial growth. Dr. Zimmerman specializes in treating ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, and relationship issues. He also offers expertise in helping adults navigate mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, coping with family changes, and men's issues. He frequently utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thought patterns affect their emotions and behaviors. However, he adapts his therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs and preferences of each individual.
In addition to his in-person services, Dr. Zimmerman provides virtual comprehensive ADHD evaluations for students K-12 enrolled in public, private, or charter schools.

Dr. Zimmerman brings a wealth of experience to his practice, having served children, adolescent and adults in a wide variety of settings including inpatient programs, outpatient settings, universities and K12 schools. In these settings he has performed hundreds of comprehensive psychological evaluations, utilizing psychological testing to help individuals to better understand the underlying issues hobbling their potential. Dr. Zimmerman has also had the privilege of working with hundreds of individuals, groups, couples and families as they find hope and healing. Dr. Zimmerman specializes in helping people navigate mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, coping with family changes, and men's issues. Dr. Zimmerman’s diverse background and extensive experience enable him to connect with clients across various age groups and provide tailored, effective support.
